Everything you need to know about the Oculus ecosystem, algorithm generation, token economics, and live deployment.

General & Platform

What is Oculus Algorithms?

Oculus is a premier, no-code environment designed to let users build, backtest, and deploy sophisticated, institutional-grade quantitative trading algorithms using pure natural language.

Do I need to know how to code?

Zero coding is required. Oculus utilizes an advanced Natural Language Processing engine. If you can articulate your market thesis and risk parameters in English, the engine will architect the quantitative code and manage the operational logic for you.

Who is Oculus designed for?

The platform bridges the gap between retail intuition and institutional execution. It is designed for everyone from retail traders seeking an algorithmic edge to experienced quants who want to prototype and backtest rapidly without coding overhead.

What kind of data does Oculus reference?

OCULUS references thousands of data points including historical price action, macro-economic indicators, sector correlations, and micro-structure order flow to ensure every iteration is mathematically tested against multiple market regimes.

Building & Engine Mechanics

How does Auto Mode differ from Advanced Mode?

In Auto Mode, you provide a simple prompt and Oculus handles the entire design, asset selection, and risk profiling automatically. In Advanced Mode, you take granular control, defining specific tickers, precise timeframes, and targeted logic variables.

Can I build strategies for entire sectors?

Yes. You can prompt OCULUS to trade specific baskets or entire sectors (e.g., "Trade the top 10 S&P Tech stocks"). The AI will automatically manage the weightings and correlations across the basket.

How long does a strategy iteration take?

Because the engine conducts deep quantitative verification, an average strategy optimization and backtest iteration takes roughly 60 minutes to process thousands of historical data points.

What happens if my strategy fails its risk targets?

If a re-optimization cycle fails to meet your defined maximum drawdown or minimum return parameters, OCULUS logs the failure, analyzes the data to determine why the target was missed, and autonomously prepares a new "Chain of Thought" for a subsequent iteration.

How does Oculus provide transparency?

We eliminate "black box" trading. After every build, Oculus generates a plain English explanation of exactly how the strategy operates, paired with mathematically verified performance charts and trade-by-trade metrics.

Tokens & Pricing

What are tokens and why are they needed?

Tokens represent the computational fuel required for OCULUS to iterate on your strategy. Every time the AI designs, compiles, and runs complex backtest simulations, server processing power is consumed. Tokens cover this infrastructure overhead.

How many tokens does a build consume?

Standard iterations for Regular Stock Algorithms consume 10 Tokens per iteration. More complex logic, such as Options Algorithms, consume 15 Tokens per iteration.

How do I purchase more tokens?

You can instantly view your balance and top up tokens by navigating to Account > Tokens and Billing inside the platform. We offer a Basic package (100 tokens), a Pro package (275 tokens), and a Wizard package (600 tokens).

How are payments processed?

All financial transactions, including monthly licenses and on-demand token top-ups, are securely processed via Stripe. We support all major credit cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.

Deployment & Partners

How do I deploy my finished strategy?

Once you verify your edge, you can instantly push your logic live via our official partner hosts: SignalSynk or Atlas Trade AI. They handle the complex brokerage routing.

What is SignalSynk?

SignalSynk is a premium partner platform that acts as an execution bridge. It securely connects your custom Oculus strategy directly to your personal brokerage account for live, latency-free automation.

What is Atlas Trade AI?

Atlas Trade AI is an institutional-grade platform. If you are an active Atlas Trade AI client, you can securely host your custom Oculus strategies directly inside their ecosystem.

Do I need an Oculus license to deploy?

If you choose to deploy via SignalSynk, an active, recurring Oculus license is required. However, if you are an active Atlas Trade AI client deploying to their platform, there are no additional Oculus licensing fees.

Who handles the order routing?

Oculus is purely the intelligence and design engine. Our partner hosts (SignalSynk and Atlas) securely handle all live API execution, order routing, and connectivity to your regulated broker.

Security & Compliance

Is my strategy logic kept private?

Yes. Sovereignty is a core pillar of Oculus. Your quantitative strategies are stored in strictly encrypted environments. Your trading logic remains your private, highly secure intellectual property.

How does the "Secure Docker System" work?

When you prepare a strategy for deployment, OCULUS wraps the algorithm in a sandboxed Docker container. This ensures your specific code is completely isolated, secure, and can execute smoothly 24/7 without external interference.

Does Oculus hold my trading capital?

No. Oculus Algorithms is purely a software development company. We do not hold client funds, nor do we act as a financial advisor or broker-dealer. Your capital always remains under your control in your own regulated brokerage account.
